Stacie Clarke is a professional bellydancer, instructor, and choreographer located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You can find her teaching classes (now online!) and performing, both as a soloist and with various ensembles, around the city and beyond. She is also available for private lessons and for hire as a versatile performer at private functions in many styles of bellydance from traditional to modern and experimental.
As a performer, Stacie is known for engaging the audience with precise technique, relaxed musicality, and genuine emotional expression. Her performance highlights include dancing with Bal Anat, the longest running bellydance ensemble in the world, for their 50th anniversary shows in Berkeley and Chicago and directing and choreographing a full length show for the Edmonton International Fringe Festival in 2019. With twelve years of bellydance experience, she continues to study mainly with the Salimpour School in Berkeley, California and The Dark Side Studio in Toronto, ON.
